DESCRIPTION:
One of the first pieces in the MatterMade collection, the Orchard Ladder is inspired by ladders often found in 19th century apple orchards. Their intricate form is rooted in tradition and constructed with technology. Hard maple components are CNC turned and fit snugly together without fasteners. Not intended for climbing, the ladders can be used to store and display textiles such as quilts, towels, or clothing or simply as a stand-alone piece to add a sculptural element to a space.
